Need to show councils with disbanded lodges that either rechartered with a new name OR merged into a council with existing lodge.

In September of 1948, Area H was reorganized as Region 5 as part of the 1948 integration into the twelve scouting regions. By 1949, the region was divided into Areas 5-A to 5-E*. In that year, only two conferences were held "East Division" (5-B) and "West Division" (5-C and 5-D):

"In January 1955 Mena and Polk Counties were transferred to the Caddo Council in Texarkana, Arkansas. For a brief time beginning in 1953, Pope County became a part of Quapaw Area Council before returning to Westark in January 1957. Finally, Fulton County transferred to Eastern Arkansas Area Council on August 1, 1965.
The Westark Area Council today consists of the following counties: Baxter, Benton, Boone, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Madison, Marion, Newton, Pope, Scott, Searcy, Sebastian, Washington, and Yell."

  Effective: sometime prior to June of 1949
  Reference: Arapaho II, 2000 ed. states that this lodge "Adopted new name prior to 1952". However, Blue Book, 6th ed. says 1949. In addition, this new name appeared in "Area, Area Leaders, and Lodges" published 6/9/1949 by the OA National Committee

White Panther 345 changed its name to Koi Hatachie 345.

Lodge 322 of the Mobile Area Council was chartered as White Fang Lodge on October 4, 1945. In November of 1957, White Fang Lodge changed their name to Woa Cholena. The Auburn University football team won the national championship in 1957 and the lodge celebrated this by changing its name to War Eagle Lodge 322-- War Eagle was the battle cry of Auburn University-- for one year (1/1/58-1/1/59). War Eagle lodge had no known official patch issues.
