Area 8-- renamed Area H by 1940, was the Area Territory that corresponded to BSA Region 6. It included all lodges in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
By Dec. 1942, the area was divided between Area I and Area J. Meanwhile, Area G, which included lodges in T.N., A.R., L.A., M.S., & A.L., became the new Area H.
