Area 3-- renamed Area C by 1940, was the Area Territory that included lodges in southeast New York, New York City, three lodges along the Southern Tier (165, 172, 186) and all lodges in New Jersey.
By 1944, the area had shifted up to the lodges of Eastern Upstate New York.
