Section Changes:

After the 1980 NC-1B conclave that was hosted by Apoxky Aio 300, Crazy Horse 171 and Tatokainyanka 356 were transferred to NC-1A. The remaining lodge, Apoxky Aio, "was a section in itself" (Downs) until the 1982 joint conclave with NC-1A.

During the joint conclave of NC-1A and NC-1B (which was only one lodge, Apoxky Aio 300) in March of 1982, NC-1 was reorganized. NC-1A was pared down to five lodges: Mandan 372, Tahosa 383, Ha-Kin-Skay-A-Ki 387, Tupwee 536, and Mic-O-Say 541. Tashunka Witco 171, Tatokainyanka 356, along with Kola 464, were transferred to NC-1B, while Three Arrows 510 was moved to NC-4.

An article from Golden Sun 492's newsletter, "the Sundial," that covered the 1983 NC-4 conclave stated "all eight (8) Lodges in the Section were well represented," and specifically listed 492, 74 (host), 467, 108, 450, and 517. While not being mentioned, Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut 97, Miniconjou 438, and Three Arrows 510 would also have been included. The article must've meant the eight other lodges, as other sources, including the Timmeu Lodge History website, show that NC-4 had nine lodges at this time.
